Building Purpose, One Student at a Time
Building Purpose, One Student at a Time
This mode fosters robust connections and aids microschools in cultivating a culture centered on Purpose Academies core values and the principles of empowerment. Within this framework, students and student development coaches engage in activities such as reading, observing, discussing, journaling, and playing, all geared towards uncovering skills and promoting healthy mindsets essential to empowered learning.
Student Development Coaches and parents collaborate with students to craft a personalized individual development plan utilizing rigorous, mastery-oriented curricula. Students establish their own objectives and progress daily. Utilizing low-stress, adaptive, diagnostic assessments, learning gaps are identified, enabling students to work at an appropriate level and pace..
Coaches engage students in problem-solving and service learning activities and experiences. These activities aim to cultivate individuals who reflect deeply on the world and their interpersonal connections. At Purpose Academies, our focus is on nurturing critical thinking skills rather than prescribing specific ideologies.
During this phase, exploration and creativity take center stage. Students explore as they tackle real-world problems through projects designed to unveil their interests and expand their understanding of the world. This mode encourages the creation of businesses, products, service initiatives, performances, and additional endeavors.
